OUR HISTORY

ASM Motorsport, based in Badalona (Barcelona) is a motorsport company created in 2006 by Alex Sabater and Miquel Amblàs.

 

Since the beginning, ASM Motorsport has been dedicated to the construction and maintenance of Rally and Circuits cars, as well as its management in motorsport events around the world.

2014 represents a big turning point in the history of the company, as one of its founders, Miquel Amblàs, moves his professional career towards new motorsport challenges outside the company. From this point onwards, Alex Sabater has been leading and evolving the company, up to today.

 

All the hard work of the early days, had a great reward at the end of 2014, when the company was chosen as the Official Technical Partner by Renault Sport Racing, to run their Official Program in the World Rally Championship 2015 and 2016.

 

After attending many events around the world for our customers, a new era starts at the end of 2017 with a more dedicated effort to the design of our own competition products, first with the Rally 2-kit project, and most recently, with the full design, development and construction of our unique ORYX T3, an FIA Lightweight Prototype Vehicle, for Cross Country rallys.

 

We now focus a big part of our efforts on the construction of the ORYX T3, and the aftersales service. Cars are already available for sale or rent.
